At this time, there is no license as such required by the State of Texas to be a "solar or wind installer." In short, this is still very much a "buyer-beware" industry in the State of Texas. In order to receive the Oncor rebate, your system must be installed by an Oncor "certified" installer. That process of certification seems very elementary compared to a state license. green builder, or green remodeler in North Central Texas or the Dallas-Fort Worth area?
