If we want to be more comfortable for less money this winter, lets start by understanding basic physics--heat transfer and air pressure.

Air moves in and out of our home from holes, of course, but it  primarily moves when there is a difference between air pressures. More about air pressure.

Heat  moves from warm to cool or from hot to cold and it moves in three ways.

1. Radiation

2. Convection

3. Conduction

They are not equally important. More about heat.
