Cranium Cadoo for Kids Cranium Cadoo is a Can Do game for kids than mimics the game Cranium for adults. It is just as much fun with as many giggles and high-fives. Two kids can play alone. Three or four kids can play the game. But that's not all. It is a wonderfully entertaining family game in situations when the board game Cranium would be too advanced. In Cranium Cadoo there are two card decks: Solo and Combo.
Players complete Solo activities alone, while Combo cards get two or more
players working together to win.

Cranium Cadoo takes two or more players about five minutes to learn and 30 minutes to play. Kids act, puzzle, sketch, scavenge, sculpt, or even crack secret codes to get tokens and place them on the game board. The goal of Cadoo is to get four tokens in a row on the board to win. Parts of the games, such as the scavenger hunt are quite active. Contents of Cranium Cadoo:

Cadoo won the 2002 Toy Industry Association Game of the Year award, which recognizes the most innovative, interactive, and playful game of the year.
There is a version of Cadoo which comes in a tin lunch-box-style carrying case. It is more durable and adds a nice touch to a gift, especially for a child who carries his/her games out of the home. However, it is slightly more expensive. The only draw back to Cadoo is that it only contains one tub of clay. The solution is to order Cadoo Booster Box. You get another tub of clay and double your fun with 300 new cards when you purchase the booster box. It also contains a new decoder mask and an additional drawing pad. The booster box does require the original game to play, though, so don't order it alone. Larger illustrations here. Manufacturer's Suggested Age: 7 and up. |

I think most younger children can play this game in a family setting with a little help with the reading. Certainly a 6 year old can enjoy this game. In fact, it is hard to say enough positive things about Cranium Cadoo as a family game! It is one of the best for family fun with kids from age six to mid-teens. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD- Small parts.
