According to the editors of Prevention Magazine in Food and Nutrition, one of a series of health books, "Complete nutrition for those crying, cuddling, whining, wetting bundles of  joy can be best be provided by one food: mother's milk. While human and formula milk are comparable in many respects, healthy breastmilk does have several nutritional advantages.

"Early breast milk contains substances that bolster a baby's immune system to help fight off allergies and infections."

But that is not all!

Food and Nutrition continues, "Breast milk also is abundant in choline,a nutrient whose importance may not reveal itself until baby is old and gray. Some animal studies showed that rats exhibited less memory deterioration in later life if, when first born, their diets were high in choline."

Just one more reason to breast feed your little one to give baby a good life: from beginning to end.
