Feng Shui Feng Shui (actually pronounced as Fung Shway in Chinese) is the ancient science of balancing the elements within the environment. It is the practice of intuitive adjustments of visible and invisible elements to realign the energy of an environment. Feng means wind and Shui means water. Ancient Chinese scholars discovered that wind and water affect our environment and well being. By adding, subtracting, or repositioning items in our surroundings according to Feng Shui principles, harmony and balance is created in our environment and thus, our lives. By mapping the chi path as it flows through a home or business, the Feng Shui consultant locates corresponding life areas that relate to career, finances, relationships, fame, creativity, knowledge, travel, and health and other aspects of life. Although mainly used in business and home environments, Feng Shui can also be applied to the person. |
