News As unbelievable as it seems, physical abuse is one of the most common causes of complications during pregnancy. The number one cause of death for pregnant women is murder by their baby’s father. Abuse affects women of all ages and from all socioeconomic backgrounds. The group of women who are most at risk, however, are those who have been physically abused before. |
